Batteries before and after rebuilding, recycling.

This illustrates what the typical battery looks like when it is sent to me.

I call this a swimmer. Tools are let set in the weather or in tool trays that collects water until the pack looks like this.

There are vents on the bottom of the case that provides ventilation for cooling. The vent tube only go into the battery 3/8" and when the water get higher than that the pack has to tread water.

No matter that you notice,  the water has no way to get out. The only way to dry it out is to dissasemble it.




The pack on the bottom is ready to install in the case for a new lease on life.

Rest assurd, if it sets in more than 3/8" of water it will look like the one on top. They are not good swimmers.
